The Role
We are seeking a Data Operations Intern to support the leadership team in refining our data workflows and building a foundational customer data collection platform. This role is ideal for someone eager to gain hands-on experience at the intersection of data engineering, product strategy, and AI development.

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate directly with the CEO and COO to refine internal data operations documentation and processes.
• Assist in architecting and building a Django-based customer data collection system backed by MongoDB.
• Support efforts to ensure the collected data is structured, validated, and ready for downstream analytics, machine learning, and AI applications.
• Work alongside leadership to define data schemas, optimize ingestion pipelines, and identify opportunities for automation.
• Participate in strategy meetings to align data infrastructure with real-world client needs.

What We’re Looking For

• Working knowledge of Python and Django (familiarity with Django Rest Framework a plus).
• Experience or coursework with NoSQL databases, particularly MongoDB.
• A passion for clean data, repeatable processes, and long-term maintainability.
• Strong written communication skills—documentation is a key part of the job.
• Curiosity about real-world applications of data, AI, and business analytics.
• Bonus: experience with version control (Git), Docker, or cloud environments (e.g. AWS, GCP).
